Designed for the Sri Lankan Port Authority (SLPA) BY #ARK, PIER 01 takes inspiration from the adjoining sea-front and the leisure sail boats that are often seen in the bay area. PIER 01 is designed to be occupied by multiple users : The SLPA Tower hosts offices on the lower levels and is designed to be occupied by the Port & Shipping Ministry on the higher levels. The SLPA Ancillary Tower is occupied by the SriLankan Ship Registry on the lower levels, followed by the Ceylon Shipping Corporation. The remained levels are occupied by SLPA offices. The adjoining tower hosts a series of rentable offices across all levels.
